My New Toy!

I finally took the plunge and got a loom! It's a Kromski Harp Forte 32" rigid heddle loom. I love it because it folds up, so I can tuck it in the closet when I'm not using it. My first project was a simple plain weave scarf. Nothing fancy. It's fun and very relaxing. I see why weaving is coming back in to popularity. It always makes me happy to see traditional crafts continuing. I'm on my 4th project. I'm really enjoying weaving. I have a hard time with the warping, but I'm slowly getting the hang of it. Weaving is super relaxing, and I like how much faster it is for me to do even if my hands aren't cooperating for the day.
