Silver Laced Wyandottes
Now that we are finally in a place where we have the space (and zoning laws, ugh) for chickens, I finally got some!
I chose the Silver Laced Wyandotte breed because of their temperament and the fact that they are a dual purpose bird. They are also cold hearty which is important here in New England. Hopefully even though I have a few birds we won't get overwhelmed with eggs.
So far things are going great! We have them in a barn stall for now that we converted into a chicken coop. Plenty of room for cold winter days where they can't get outside because of
